Dredging Corporation of India Ltd., a Public Sector Undertaking, under the Ministry of Shipping, Govt. of India, owning a fleet of dredgers, inviting tenders, to carry out major repairs including dry-docking of vessel DCI Dredge Aquarius, from 3rd week of August 2010.
The vessel, built in 1977 by DE MERWEDE, Netherlands is a Cutter Suction Dredger with Twin Screw Propulsion.
The tenders will be received till 15:00 hours on 23.07.2010 Technical Bid will be opened on the same day at 15:30 hours at DCI Head Office, Visakhapatnam, in the presence of tenderers who wish to be present at that time. The Financial Bids of the technically qualified tenderers will be opened on the same day or at a later date with prior intimation to the tenderers.
All the dry docking repairs are to be carried out under the inspection / supervision of Indian Register of Shipping.
