Tilburg municipality, on behalf of the mayor and aldermen, the head of the Engineering firm to the Area Development Service, is tendering Harbour construction works.
Vossenberg West II, construction of a Barge Terminal. On the south side of the commercial terminal Vossenberg West II, in the municipality of Tilburg, a new long quay for the Wilhelmina terminal is required in order to accomodate vessels with a deadweight of over 1,350 tons. In the adjacent area, a barge terminal is to be constructed. From here, it is expected that approximately 20,000 TEUs per year will be entering the terminal.
The final draft should be drawn up, with the quay wall, runways and site paving design and drawings being included. Together with functional or product requirements of the other design elements, this is the document on which the preparation of the barge terminal work should be based, tender deadline is 14.9.2011.
