On September 16, the project of structural reinforcement and reconstruction of 19 and 20 berth terminals in north basin of Tianjin Port, undertaken by CCCC First Harbour Engineering Company Limited kicked off.
Located on the west bank of the third basin in the Beijiang port area of Tianjin Port, the project, a key one at Tianjin Port, involves reconstructing the original two 10,000t bulk cargo terminals into a 50,000t bulk terminal.
The project will boost the annual throughput of the terminals in the north basin and accelerate the development of Tianjin Binhai New Area.
