Bangladesh: CHEC Bags Bid for Jamuna Channel Dredging

CHEC successfully won the bid for channel dredging project of Jamuna of Bangladesh, on Sep. 28. The value of the contract is around USD 61.88 million, with the construction period of 20 months. The total construction length of the dredging project is 14Km. The project is divided into two bid section

CHEC successfully won the bid for channel dredging project of Jamuna of Bangladesh, on Sep. 28. The value of the contract is around USD 61.88 million, with the construction period of 20 months.

The total construction length of the dredging project is 14Km. The project is divided into two bid sections and dredging length of both sections is 7Km. The total works quantity of channel dredging is 24.10 million cubic meters.

Winning bid for the project symbolizes that CHEC has reentered the market of Bangladesh and virtuous cycle of business has started, which is significant for in-depth development of the market of Bangladesh.
