Fährhafen Sassnitz GmbH has announced tender for the expansion works on the Port of Sassnitz in Berths 3 and 4 under the first construction phase of the South port extension area.
As part of the plan, the existing sheet piling boxes are provided with a concrete beam, the basin area filled with more soil and associated material, equipped with all equipment for wharfage (bollards, fenders, ladders, etc.) as well as equipment for disposal facilities.
As part of this tender is Lot 2, for the mounting surface (eg gravel, heavy duty paving, concrete surface along the quay) and the stock connections.
The overall project will be implemented by the end of 2011 to 2012.
