The Offshore Energy exhibition, an event focused on global oil & gas exploration and production market opened today in Amsterdam RAI, the Netherlands.

The event boasts over 300 high-profile exhibitors from UK, Spain, Germany, Switzerland, The Netherlands, Saudi Arabia etc., and over 5000 visitors are expected to be there.

Some of the famous names in offshore oil and gas industry exhibiting at Offshore Energy are Keppel Verolme , Total E&P Nederland B.V., Chevron Exploration and Production Netherlands B.V. , Technip – EPG b.v, Saudi Aramco​, Fugro, GDF Suez E&P Nederland B.V. and many more.

Offshore Energy enables E&P professionals to source and discuss new exploration & production technology, debate new ideas and to discover the solutions that will enable them to realise the potential of the global offshore market.

Your Platform for the Future

Offshore Energy’s slogan is Your Platform for the Future. This is true for the exhibition as well as for the conference. This year Offshore Energy offers as much as three conferences, six topical sessions and two side events with contributions from operators, major contractors, business analysts and researchers.

The whole program is designed to get the maximum amount of information from the leading experts in the industry on the developments in offshore oil, gas and renewable energy. Key conference topics are future energy supply and demand along with business opportunities in offshore, the outlook for deepwater gas and the business case for floating LNG plants, latest innovations in E&P technology, safe and effective well delivery and renewable offshore energy.

Conference program

The two-day conference program of Offshore Energy runs parallel to the Offshore Energy Exhibition. On the first conference day, offshore professionals can attend the Global Energy Outlook Conference, the Deepwater Gas Conference or topical sessions on Offshore Wind, Marine Spatial Planning or Heavy Lift. In the afternoon a meeting of the NOGEPA/IRO Drilling & Wells Cluster will take place.

On Wednesday 12 October, the Upstream Innovation Conference and topical sessions on Wave & Tidal Energy, Deep Sea Mining and Unconventional Gas are programmed. The afternoon offers a seminar on Decommissioning, which is organized by IRO and Decom North Sea and can be attended free of charge.
