Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA) informs the shipping, harbour craft and pleasure craft communities in Singapore’s waters that repair work on breakwater along East Coast Park commences.
The repair works, with effect from 01 Nov 2011 to 30 Apr 2012, will entail the removal of the existing breakwater and restoring the breakwater to its original design.
The work barge will be used for transportation of equipment and material to the work site.
The barge used for the project works will be shifted by tugs operating in pusher mode.
Safety boat will be in attendance at all times to warn and re-direct craft in the vicinity to keep clear of the working area.
