Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA) informs the shipping, harbour craft and pleasure craft communities in Singapore’s waters that dredging works at Loyang Offshore Base start soon.

Dredging works will be carried out by the dredger “Draco”. The work barge will be held in position by spuds and will have a circular safety working zone of 50-metre radius centred at the work barge.

Dredged materials will be transported to the designated dumping ground by the hopper barges.

A safety boat will be in attendance throughout the duration of the construction works to warn other craft of the works in the vicinity.
