Grand port maritime de Rouen has announced tender for dredging and disposal works at Port of Rouen.

Dredging works in the navigation channel of the Port of Rouen including mining (dredging) and transport to transit sites or to authorised land disposal sites. Overall aim of works will be to level the high points in the Courval area and to adapt docking areas.

Project period is 7 months from date of contract award, and deadline for this tender is 12.12.2011.

With a long and rich history the Port of Rouen settled all along the Seine river between Rouen and the mouth of the Seine is one of the big french and europeans ports.

The Port of Rouen is mainly specialised in bulk traffics (especially, grain products and refined oil products), in exchanges with european countries and on the North/South trades, it’s a place where high added value is created.
