A newly discovered layer of hard rock increased the cost for a Conwy harbor new jetty to £448,031.
According to the initial estimation the cost for the project passed in November 2010 was £210,000, however the Conwy council now has to provide additional £50,000 what will be discussed today.
A decision is expected to be reached on 13 December.
In May, Conwy council’s cabinet approved plans to borrow money to cover the initial cost increase, and to raise harbour fees to help repay the loan.
