USA: City Seeks Proposals for Dredging of Havre de Grace Yacht Basin

The city is in pursuit of proposal for the dredging of the primary channel leading to the Havre de Grace Yacht Basin. This channel was filled with silt deposited by the flooding from Tropical Storm Lee. It is anticipated that the dredging will comprise 9,000 cubic yards of sediment planned to be mov

The city is in pursuit of proposal for the dredging of the primary channel leading to the Havre de Grace Yacht Basin.

This channel was filled with silt deposited by the flooding from Tropical Storm Lee.

It is anticipated that the dredging will comprise 9,000 cubic yards of sediment planned to be moved from the channel to Swan Harbor Farm.

The proposals are expected to be submitted no further than 5 p.m. on December 9.

The dredging is due to by February 14, 2012.
