The city of New Buffalo will ask the Pokagon Fund for help with getting such work done next year.
“ It’s not really known just yet whether the harbor will have to be cleared next year, ” said Ryan Fellows , Assistant to the City Manager.
Local leaders want to be prepared for the possibility that no money will be coming from Washington.
The city’s going to ask the Pokagon Fund, which supports a variety of community projects around Harbor Country with Four Winds Casino money to get harbor dredging done.
