Van Oord has reached an agreement in principle on the acquisition of the Dutch company of Van Haaften-Van Oord in Werkendam.
This acquisition will strengthen Van Oord’s position on the Dutch market for dredging, coastal and shore protection work.
An acquisition of the independent company of Van Haaften-Van Oord is in line with the Van Oord strategy. This development will advance the company’s position with respect to dredging projects for creating more room for rivers and for the future Delta Plan.
