The “Little Orme”, the cutter suction dredger purchased jointly by Quay Marinas and The Crown Estate, arrived at Conwy Quays Marina from Holland last month, having been transported by lorry in two containers.
The dredger has since been assembled and tested.
This winter’s dredging campaign at Conwy will start this year and ‘The Little Orme’ will then move to Deganwy in early March to carry out three weeks dredging.
The “Little Orme” will also be available to carry out dredging work for third parties and her size and manouevrability make her particularly suitable for marina operations.
