USA: Avalon Beach Replenishment Kicks Off

The Avalon Beach replenishment project has officially commenced. The Avalon Beach replenishment project has officially commenced.

About 60,000 cubic yards of sand will be moved from two beachfronts in the southern portion of the community to the northern end.

“ This is one of the few years where we haven’t had a dramatic erosion problem due to a fairly mild storm season ,” said Tom Thorton , borough engineer.

The Avalon Beach replenishment will finish up on March 15th and work will only be performed during daylight hours.
