France: Zamenhof and Mace Beaches to Get New Sand

Ville de Cannes has announced tender for the replenishment works at Zamenhof and Macé beaches.

This project includes consolidation works of the Zamenhof and Macé beaches, La Croisette:

– sampling and analysis of samples of material will be provided on beaches;

– marine transport by means of dredged sandy material;

– filling of the two beaches with sandy materials from onshore.

The bidder will describe precisely the methodology they intend to use to achieve this objective, and should consider, amongst other things:

– maximum period of operation: 8 weeks (period of preparation included);

– navigation plan imposed with arrival on the beaches of La Croisette;

– unloading points;

– presence of beach facilities;

– bathymetry of the area;

– presence of a underwater dike.

Tender details: Open procedure.

Dated: 04. 02. 2012.

Tender Deadline: 16. 3. 2012.

Project period: 4 months from date of contract award.
