Forsvarsbygg Utvikling Nord has announced tender for dredging works at the Ramsundet area.
This project includes the environmental remediation of sea sediments and suction dredging of contaminated sediments located in Ramsundet.
The dredging area is approx. 82,500 m2 and the thickness of the contaminated sediments in the dredging area is approx. 20cm. The sediments are contaminated by PCBs and TBT and shall be dewatered prior to transportation to an approved disposal site.
This contract includes an option for removing scrap on the seabed.
