Once finished the Works of extension of the terminal of containers, the Port of Dakar is ready to take advantage of the 8 hectares win to the sea.

The terminal which extension has been in charge of the Autonomous Port of Dakar has also increased its depth till 13, 50 m. That will allow it to win considerably in operational capacity.

The whole terminal has been awarded to DP World who has provided it with arcade cranes and many terminal machinery that constitute the biggest inversion since the signature of the concession in 2007.

The inaugural ceremony has count with the exhibition of the performances and skills of movement of the tugs of Boluda Towage and Salvage which give services in the Port of Dakar.
