Flotation specialist Superior Plastech has released its newly designed next generation range of hose and pipe floats.

Designed for multiple industrial marine applications, uses include dredging, mining, water treatment and aquaculture.

The floats are high-impact rotomoulded polyethylene and have internal diameters ranging from 10mm to 630mm.

Suitable for cable, hose and pipe, the floats come with the option of a quick-release strap, eliminating the time-consuming process of bolting the floats together and making operational use more efficient.

Other design improvements include a moulded hole in each end for convenient storage and security and moulded locating pins for ease of installation.

The floats also come with the option of glass reinforced polyethylene bolts and nuts – a corrosion-free and economical alternative to galvanised or stainless steel fittings.

Superior Plastech’s hose and pipe floats can be foam filled, if requested. An extensive colour range is available, along with the option of passive radar and light reflective stripes.
