Graham Construction has announced a £19m deal to build a new port in the north of England.
The Company has also recently won business on major marine projects in Scotland including Kennacraig Ferry Terminal and Fife Energy Park.
Graham will construct a new 250m jetty, a 195m pier jetty, a floating pontoon and a linkspan bridge.
Enterprise Minister Arlene Foster said: “ It is encouraging to see companies in the construction sector such as John Graham Dromore Ltd striving ahead by looking for opportunities and doing business outside Northern Ireland. ”
The scheme will also include dredging and construction of a car park. Work is due to start on site this month with completion scheduled for March 2013.
