Officials to Announce Port of Rochester Dredging Plan (USA)

Congresswoman Louise Slaughter and local business leaders are expected to give an announcement on the Port of Rochester Thursday morning, Rochester.ynn.com reports.

At that occasion, a plan for the Port of Rochester dredging will be released.

Large ships used to bring in raw materials have not been able to access the port because it has been too shallow.

This project will get the buildup of sediment in the channel removed this spring.
