The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is postponing Thursday evening’s public meeting to discuss a draft environmental assessment of proposed nearshore sediment placement sites near the mouth of the Columbia River.
The meeting was to be held at the Port of Ilwaco but the Corps determined a larger venue is needed to accommodate the number of people interested in learning about and commenting on the draft EA. A new meeting date and location will be announced when they are confirmed.
