A contract for the Belgium funded 70 million euro project for the second phase of dredging the Soai Rap River was signed yesterday at a meeting held in honor of Crown Prince Philipp and accompanying Belgian delegation, reports Saigon.
Le Hoang Quan, Chairman of the People’s Committee of Ho Chi Minh City, stressed how much he appreciates Belgian cooperation in the development of seaports and seaport services.
The prospect of the river dredging project is to boost aquatic transport in HCMC and the three provinces Tien.
