France: DMC Signs License Agreement for Use of Xbloc

Delta Marine Consultants (DMC), has signed a license agreement for the use of Xbloc on the new LNG Terminal in Dunkerque, France.

The license agreement has been signed with the Joint Venture existing of Sodraco International SAS (part of Jan de Nul), Bouygues Travaux Publics Régions France, Colas Nord Picardie and Menard.

Within the Dunkerque project, 3000 Xblocs of 6m3 will be applied. The Xbloc units will be produced on the project site and production is expected to start in April. Xbloc placement is expected to commence in the second half of 2012.

The Dunkerque project is the fourth LNG terminal for which Xbloc is applied to provide protection against the waves.
