The Port of Rotterdam,Port of Amsterdam, Zeeland Seaports and Groningen Seaports jointly present themselves at the Intermodal exhibition in São Paulo, the largest event in the Americas for logistics, cargo, transport and international trade. The event will take place April 10-12.
Opportunities
By participating in the Intermodal exhibition the Dutch ports recognize the fast growing Brazilian economy, the importance of the Americas and the thus increasing need for international transport and logistics concepts. All four Dutch ports and the accompanying companies offer knowledge and business opportunities in the fields of transport, logistics, infrastructure, port development and business services.
Brazil-Netherlands
Brazil is seen as one of the most important emerging markets offering many opportunities for Dutch companies in the fields of oil and gas, inland barge transport and port development. The Netherlands is the fourth important trade partner for Brazil. Dutch imports from Brazil have firmly grown over the past years up to a total worth of about 4.5 billion euro’s. Dutch imports from Brazil focus on feed, oilseeds and oleaginous fruits, meat products, vegetables, fruit, oil and iron ore. About 40 million tons of export goods are shipped to the Netherlands via Dutch seaports, of which some 32 million tons via Rotterdam. The Port of Rotterdam is the most important port European port for Brazilian as well as South American cargo.
