According to the tempointeractive.com, PT Pelabuhan Indonesia (Pelindo) II continues its preparation to acquire PT Pengerukan Indonesia (Rukindo).
Saptono R. Irianto, Pelindo II’s commercial and business development director , said: “ We’re now communicating with the company. ”
He also added that Pelindo II and Rukindo are discussing the future of the plan.
The acquisition follows instructions by State Owned Enterprises Minister Dahlan Iskan to strengthen and improve Rukindo.
Rukindo operates in the dredging business. It also arranges reclamation matters, transportation of dredged materials and the procurement/development of land and buildings.
