ADPC has awarded a three year framework contract to Arcadis, the international design, consulting, engineering and management services company, and its subsidiary EC Harris.
They will provide business planning, master planning, design, engineering, program management and training services.
EC Harris is already providing ADPC project control services for the Taweela-based megaproject Khalifa Port and Khalifa Industrial Zone Abu Dhabi (Kizad) project. The collaboration with Arcadis enabled ADPC to be offered a broader scope of services.
The three-year contract includes port planning and engineering, financial and economic modeling, traffic forecasting and tariff setting, training and logistic services, risk management, navigation and pilotage, port legislation, rules and regulation and port management services.
