In addition to providing specialist dredge monitoring and sampling services to a range of Ports and Dredging contractors, Partrac has recently completed a vibrocoring project in the Clyde Estuary and dredging monitoring survey in Stranraer Port.
In March, The Partrac Group presented at the “Ports & The Environment” Seminar in Amsterdam on 22nd March. Dr Kevin Black (Technical Director) discussed how the use of applied mathematical (or numerical) oceanographic models can address a range of sediment management risks and issues.
The presentation also explored if end-users can be confident that models are sufficently accurate to enable them to manage their project risks.
