At the end of a three year development process of dredging and construction, the luxury villas of Nurai island, off Saadiyat island in Abu Dhabi, have been put up for sale.
According to constructionweekonline.com, the Nurai island project was launched in Q4 2008 with the dredging work awarded to the Dutch Van Oord Gulf, and the construction work awarded to the Korean STX Construction. Work finished in Q4 2011.
The scope of the work on the island also included infrastructure, a luxury hotel, marina, helipad, serviced residence, and further complementary facilities. All properties on the island are covered by 24 hour surveillance.
