On or around 14 June 2012, the US Army Corps of Engineers will issue an invitation for bid for dredging of the Oahe Emergency Spillway Inlet Channel at Pierre, South Dakota.
This work includes the construction of two settling ponds with drop inlet structures and dredging of the inlet channel to the Emergency Spillway. The work also includes sloping both banks to the spillway inlet channel and ripraping of both banks.
The solicitation will close on or about 17 July 2012.
The estimated construction cost of this project is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000.
