Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA) informs the shipping, harbour craft and pleasure craft communities in Singapore’s waters that the construction of sea water intake structure at Jurong Island is underway.
The construction of the sea water intake structure will entail dredging works, installation of piles, the removal of existing revetment and the reinstatement works on the revetment.
A safety boat will be deployed in the vicinity to warn other craft to keep clear of the working area.
