On May 29, CCCC Fourth Harbor Engineering Co., Ltd. won the bid for Phase 3 barge terminal project in Nansha Area of Guangzhou Port, with a value of 142 million yuan and a construction period of 220 days.
Located in the reclamation area on Longxue Island in Nansha, Guangzhou, with a coastline of 2,218 meters, the project involves four 100,000t and two 70,000t container berths (hydraulic structures designed to berth 150,000t container vessels), as well as 24 2,000t container berths. The project won by the company involves the hydraulic structure works (steel sheet pile structure) of container berths, soft foundation treatment, pipeline, road and yard construction, etc.
The project will play a positive role in perfecting the terminal function of Nansha and promoting the economic development of Guangzhou Port.
