Recently, CCCC Fourth Harbor Consultants Co., Ltd. has won the bid for Phase 1 engineering exploration and survey of the coal terminal in Quanwan district of Huizhou Port.
Located in the west of Chunzhou Island in the east of Quanwan district of Huizhou Port, the project involves construction of two 70,000t berths and auxiliary facilities, with a designed annual throughput of 15 million tons of coal and a total investment of 2.49 billion yuan. The project is expected to be completed in 2014.
The project will turn Huizhou Port into a major coal transport base in South China and play a positive role in promoting local economic and social development.
