Torbay Council has announced early information about the seawall repair works at the Torquay area.
Tenders are sought for repairs and replacement of the stone revetment to Livermead sea wall, Torquay.
The works are expected to include approx. 500 tonnes of rock armour to replace “lost” areas of the revetment, and pumped concrete to fill voids in the remaining areas.
There is no vehicular access to this area and it is anticipated all works will be from the adjacent highway.
The deadline for expressions of interest is August 10, 2012.
