This project will include dredging of 41.96 cubic metres from the Mongla channel at a cost of Taka 126.51 crore.

Finance Minister Abul Maal Abdul Muhith presided over the meeting.

Mongla is the main sea port in the Bagerhat District of south-western Bangladesh.
