The commencement ceremony of the early start-up engineering of Lekki Deepwater Port Project in Nigeria was held on the scene of proposed port area of Lagos Free Trade Zone on July 17th, 2012.
The value of contract for the port project is around USD 680 million and the construction duration is 42 months.
In its start-up project at the early phase, the value of contract is USD 12 million and the construction duration is 6 months.
The project mainly includes investigation drilling, general plan designs, site preparation, building of temporary pathways and material yards in the port area, etc.
