The Oyo State government gives its nod for the dredging of six rivers in Ibadan metropolis.
“The government plans to dredge the Odo-Ona river; Odo-Ona bridge; Oke- Ayo river and Onideure/Igbagi river, among others, ” said Mr. Wasiu Oladimeji, the state Commissioner for Environment and Habitat .
According to tribune.com, he said that the government would leave no stone unturned in waging war against flooding.
