Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA) has informed the shipping, harbour craft and pleasure craft communities in Singapore’s waters that the Phase 4 of Jurong Island reclamation is scheduled for September 15.
The reclamation works will involve cutter suction dredgers, trailer suction hopper dredgers and hopper barges. Shore protection works will be carried out by crane barges and the dredging of sand-key trench by grab dredger.
Construction of the jetty will entail pilling concrete works, installation of marine fendering system and mooring facilities. Piling and concrete works will be carried out by work barges.
