PJSC Stroytransgaz has won the tender for the engineering, procurement, construction, and start-up of the Arctic terminal of the year-round oil export from the Novoportovskoe field developed by Gazprom Neft.

(Simferopol) that had designed the northern terminal Varandey, and Van Oord Offshore b.v. (the Netherlands) that had performed dredging and underwater technical operations when constructing the Blue Stream and Nord Stream gas pipelines.

“I am glad that our alliance that had united industry leaders turned out to be the strongest one. I am sure that the unique experience of our company and partners, top-notch management and cutting-edge construction technologies will produce a powerful synergy effect. That will allow us to successfully implement the project and considerably contribute to the development of the country’s strategically important Arctic resources” , Vadim Gurinov, President of PJSC Stroytransgaz , announced.

When constructing the Arctic terminal, Stroytransgaz will be able to fully apply its vast experience accumulated for over twenty years of work in severe conditions of the country’s northern regions. The company was a pioneer in development of many fields in the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous District.

By constructing the Arctic terminal for the Novoportovskoe field, Stroytransgaz will continue its successful cooperation with Gazprom Neft. Since 2006, for this Client the company has developed Vyngapur, Zapadno-Ozernoe, and Priobskoe fields, and constructed “Booster Pump Station -2 of the Sugmutskoe field – Muravlenkovsky Gas Treatment Plant” trunk gas pipeline in the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous District.
