A public meeting on plans to dredge harbors along the Lake Ontario shoreline is set for 7 p.m. Oct. 18 in Newfane Town Hall, 2737 Main St., reports buffalonews.com.
The session, organized by the six counties on the south shore of the lake, will discuss plans for an update of the Regional Harbor Dredging Management Plan, last revised in 2000.
This meeting will review conditions at 20 harbors.
