As an established provider of specialist subsea services to the offshore energy markets, Red7Marine continues to develop its range of fully integrated bespoke equipment and has made a commitment to being considered ‘The Partner of Choice’ where subsea excavation solutions are required.

Following an extensive review of displacement and relocation of a variety of seabed materials using controlled and mass flow techniques, Red7Marine has responded by developing the new SeaVex range of non-intrusive subsea excavation equipment for Pipeline, Cable & Umbilical Trenching/Deburial, IRM and Decommissioning services.

Through experience gained over a period of 5 years in the offshore energy sectors, Red7Marine has developed a high tech system that incorporates all the technological advancements required, thus making SeaVex the only seabed excavation tool of its type capable of operating successfully in ever demanding environmental conditions and soil types.

SeaVex excavation equipment has been commissioned by Red7Marine’s design and engineering team, and is based on a hybrid subsea excavation system which is extremely adaptable, compact and controllable. The equipment houses a single pressed impellor complete with a direct drive and torque restrictor driven by a powerful compact hydraulic motor. Fitted with various adjustable outlets at the base of the tool it allows enhanced kPa cutting of a comprehensive range of seabed materials.

SeaVex subsea tools are driven by Red7Marine’s topside environmentally friendly power units, which are designed to reduce noise and exhaust gasses, and being ultra compact further reduces the need for large deck space. The equipment offers the facility to undertake post & pre works surveys through leading sonar and survey packages in both 2D & 3D.

SeaVex provides global seabed excavation solutions with a range of new multi application equipment that is both cost effective and reliable, and which already compliments the wider range of services that Red7Marine offers. SeaVex subsea equipment meets a wide range of applications utilising the same unit, and with cost reduction to the client being a priority, is designed to be easily adapted on deck, allowing the system to operate in ultra shallow through to deep waters applications.
