According to a post on the city website, the Redondo Beach and Los Angeles County have completed the beach replenishment project.

The project brought around 73,000 cubic yards of sand onto to the beach near the Topaz Jetty in South Redondo Beach.

City officials expected the project to be complete by Monday and demobilized by October 22.

The replenishment began in August when a barge carrying hundreds of thousands of cubic yards of clean sand dredged from Marina del Rey pumped sand onto the beaches, reports redondobeach.patch.com.
