The Army Corps of Engineers has been in Ocean City for a visual inspection of the beach replenishment project with city officials.
Col. Trey Jordan, Baltimore District commander says the replenishment project played a significant role in preventing damage from Hurricane Sandy.
A team from the Baltimore District of the Army Corps will be in Ocean City for a more comprehensive assessment which will include plans for any needed repairs in the future.
