The dredging project at the Spetsmornefteport Kozmino’s Berth Number 2 has been wrapped up.
To complete the dredging program, the contractor deployed one dredger, three floating cranes, four barges and two tugboats.
The completion of this very important project would ensure access of 120,000DWT tankers to the port, according to portnews.ru.
The port officials stated in the announcement that this newly dredged berthing facility will help boost oil throughput to 30 million tons.
