The Namibe Port Firm will soon start the second stage of the rehabilitation programme of infrastructures in Lobito and Namibe ports.
According to a press note, this second stage also includes the start of studies on the expansion of Namibe Port in deeper waters, aimed at making it a strong leverage for the socioeconomic development of Angola.
Besides this initiative, the same firm is also implementing a project of expansion and modernization relating to the rehabilitation of the water supply system, sewerage, fire hydrants, construction of Namibe’s dry port and logistical activity zones, as well as the construction of the coastal navigation terminal.
Namibe Port was built in 1957.
