Coastline Surveys has announced the appointment of Andrew Johnson as Hydrographic Services Division Manager.

Andy has amassed a wealth of experience during his professional 25 year career in the marine industry worldwide. Andy has particular talents and enthusiasm in team building, business development and Client relationships whilst being a successful technical project manager.

Andy’s career includes a healthy variety of field and project surveyor positions including Senior Surveyor at the Hydrographic Office of Bahrain have led to senior management roles in geodesy and systems assurance at the UK Hydrographic Office, management of LIDAR surveys and latterly Operations Manager at specialist survey support company Swathe Services.

Elsewhere Andy has provided survey consultancy to oil and gas majors and civil engineering dredging projects worldwide.

Managing Director, Dr David Hitchcock commented “ The welcome appointment of Andrew Johnson strengthens our professional and hard working team yet further and he will be a valuable asset to both Coastline and our Clients as we continue with our growth programme in hydrographic and geotechnical services overseas as well as traditional UK markets. Andrew will also be expanding our training programme with particular specialisms in the near shore and coastal environments for marine renewables”.
