Voies Navigables de France has introduced plans for the dredging program on the Seine River.
The project details:
– Execution of dredging works for the maintenance and improvement of the network managed by VNF on the Seine basin and treatment operations in the streams, recovery and / or disposal of excavated material;
– This dredging will be performed on all of the component leads and arms of waterways, navigable or not, to maintain or restore the water levels required for navigation or for the proper hydraulic balance of rivers;
– The market also calls for the cleaning operations of all works and disposal of waste materials collected.
The project period is 12 months from the date of contract award, and the deadline for this tender is January 18, 2013.
