Berrien County has hired Environmental Consulting & Technology (ECT) to provide engineering and other services needed to renew a state permit to dredge sections of the St. Joseph River, according to heraldpalladium.com.
Under this agreement, ECT is being paid more than $60,000 by Berrien County to survey a portion of the river, map areas to be dredged and submit a permit application.
ECT is to survey the river between the Bicentennial and Napier Avenue bridges and the Morrison Channel.
