Autorità Portuale di Taranto has introduced a plan for the adaptation of a section of the Molo Polisettoriale quay in the Port of Taranto.
This project should allow the planned deepening of the seabed by the construction, adjacent to the existing dock caisson, of a deck comprising mixed elements of pre-stressed concrete on foundations formed by a double row of piles.
The works will include the construction of new runways for quay cranes and the dredging to a width of 20 metres from the existing quay.
The total value of this program is 62,886,398 EUR, and the project period is 459 days from the date of contract award.
The deadline for this tender is January 23, 2013.
