The dredging program on Lake Julia at Buhl Park in Hermitage has commenced last week, reports wkbn.com.

This very important project will last three to four weeks, and once the silt is removed, Lake Julia should return to its original 15-to-20-foot depth.

The contractor, Kirila Contractors Inc, uses a bulldozer to push a layer of sediment across the bed of Lake Julia, and the sediment is being transferred to a nearby property owned by Buhl trustees behind the Buhland Golf Center, according to sharonherald.com.
